Watching star trek next generation. First episode. 1987. In a quick background shot there's a guy wearing one of the short skirt uniforms. In 1987. SO BADASS.
I absolutely love this quick cut shot. The Federation is supposed to be a utopian society. So the designers are very clearly stating that traditionally feminine garb is no longer gender coded in utopian society.
It's a super quick shot, likely leaving viewers going, "Was that...?" and having no way to confirm it. (No pause, rewind, or video release.) So they can get away with it.
But. Seriously. They did this in what was THE VERY FIRST EPISODE OF THE BRAND NEW STAR TREK REBOOT.
They boldly went.
Brilliant.

A clip from a decades-old episode of The Simpsons is making the rounds on social media for again "predicting the future."
In the scene, neighbor Ned Flanders says his wife and her mother have been taken hostage in the Holy Land, and is wearing a yellow ribbon that has in our days become synonymous with the Israeli hostage crisis.
While it appears somewhat prescient, it's not quite as shocking as the comedy cartoon's prediction that Donald Trump would one day be president.
Indeed, hostage-taking has been a problem in this part of the world for a long time, as the character in the scene hinted.
And the yellow ribbon – while most today associate it almost exclusively with the Israeli hostage crisis, yellow ribbons have been used for decades for a number of causes, and have been associated with hostage situations since the 1979 US Embassy crisis in Tehran.

I wonder are going to see two monsters in vol 7
Tumblr media
Spoiler from manga.
In anime had cut out these monsters that are design to destroy human and possible other alien races.
Hard to tell. My best guess
On on right it look 5 or 10 arm hybrid bear monster.
Left some kinds of eel fish monster kinds.
My best guess that possible make brief cameo in season or glimpse of vol 7 or up.

Demons and Divination
Tumblr media
While Demons are renowned for answering just about any question, this is a short list of demons that specifically is said to know the Past and the Future.
Purson, Vine, Balam, Barbatos, Guison, Berith, Vual, Gremory, Flauros, Vassago, Ipos, Gaap, Orobas, Aamon.
Out of these, those whom also tells of Secrets, is Vine and Flauros (to some degree).
The one that can make a man wise or bestove inteligence is Balam.
Orias is not mentioned to specifically know the past and future, but he knows and teaches the virtues of the stars and the mansions of the planet (astrology in it's origional and full form.)
Dantalion knows the minds of all people, and he can share secrets or manipulate others to his will. Or the will of the Summoner.
Dantalion is also connected to Scrying, and teaches Empathy with others. (Not to be confused with sympathy.)
Dantalion also teaches all arts and sciences, and is in general viewed as a Keeper of Knowledge --more so than even most other demons.
Those whom work with predicting the future may find one or more of these demons quite suitable to work with.
Keep in mind that some demons are more benevolent than others, and always research the one you wish to work with throughout before summoning them.

i've noticed that Princessposting is starting to catch on. I should get in on this trend before the discourse starts about how a princesses are inherently problematic and gets really fucking annoying

I may've predicted the future of Bakuage Sentai BoonBoomger
Okay, so I'm a huge fan of the show myself. Although, it doesn't make sense how I managed to predict the future because holy shit, I did it twice. It's surreal, I know, but pLEase LET ME EXPLAIN Before the final lap even happened, I watched the show from 1-28, and this was before episode 29 even happened. Yes, the preview was at the end of the episode. But I didn't watch that. When I got bored in the middle of something, I decided to write a fanfiction where Ishiro betrayed Taiya since I never actually wrote BoonBoomger fanfiction. Just Transformers and another fandom, THOUGH NOT THE POINT.
After episode 36 came out and that was the start of the final lap, I watched the episode all the way to the preview of episode 37 (Bakuage 37: Two Spies). I thought that was new and didn't think much of it until I had one of THOSE shower thoughts where you remember everything. I LITERALLY HAVE THE UNFINISHED FANFICTION JUST NAMED "Betrayal (Taiya and Ishiro)" LIKE HUH?!?!? WAS I THINKING THE FUTURE??? I thought I jinxed it, but my friend was saying "nah thats not jinxing, thats predicting the future."
Tumblr media
ANOTHER ACCIDENTAL PREDICTION WAS BEFORE EPISODE 36 EXISTED.
In the past, I had an idea for a roleplay to cross over Gokaiger and BoonBoomger because Gokaiger was one of the first Super Sentai I watched and BoonBoomger is my hyperfixation and Gokaiger's American adaptation was my favorite shows when I was younger. Oh, and I wanted to rewatch Gokaiger for it
When the first final lap poster came out, I was showing it to my friends who are interested in BoonBoomger (because of me). THEN I SPOT THE GOKAIGER FLAG, AND WHAT THE FUCK
I have proof for this too

So I’ve been debating with myself whether I should talk about this but here I am lol.
A few days ago I had two very strange and connected dreams. I actually had a very bad nights sleep, so I woke up a few times. The first dream, I was talking to a woman on what I believed to be a cricket field. It had high net fences (I think they were nets but I’m not sure) and tall trees all around it. I don’t know what the conversation was of but the woman left and I went looking for her. Then for some reason, I was at a bar that served cocktails, I looked out from a massive open space that was kind of like a window but had no glass, down onto a mountain side, there was a cable car and a clear, blue water beach. It looked like the most beautiful tropical place I had ever seen. I was stood at the bar at the time waiting to be served and there were business people all stood around chatting and drinking. I felt a strong sense of melancholy, as if the beauty couldn’t take it away. I wasn’t in despair, just sad and lost. I recognised the beauty and it did make me feel something. Anyway, after I got served, I went to sit alone at what looked like a really plain cafeteria table in a corner so I could be left alone. I then woke up. I recognised that I had been there before in a previous dream.
I then went back to sleep and before I woke the next morning I had another dream. It was the goddess Fortuna telling me I needed to make her a physical offering (in those words) while I scrolled through several images of her likeness.
I told this to my partner who thought it might be a premonition. I have had many premonitions. One, I swore was going to happen, I went searching for the answer to for many many years. It took 11 years to take place. It was not at all what I was expecting and ended up both kind of disastrous but also super rewarding as from that point onwards, I became a magician. I literally dreamed I was doing magic.
I researched my dream online, looking for mountain top bars and it turned out that there was an island in the Caribbean called St Thomas that has that EXACT bar. It’s called paradise point. St Thomas is also known as doubting Thomas lol.
Anyway, I later looked at a map of the island and found a place called FORTUNA! I have never even thought of looking at somewhere like that before since I am not wealthy and have hardly ever traveled.
Needless to say I am shook.
And yes, I did make the offerings.
Anybody ever have something like that happen to them? Should I be freaked out? Is it a warning or a boon? Hit me with your thoughts in my ask box pls!
